 Sprouted Green Moong Salad

Ingredients:

1 cup green moong, whole
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cucumber, diced
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
salt
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup pomegranate seeds/corn/boiled peanuts

Preparation:

  1. Wash and soak whole green moong overnight. Drain the water thoroughly.
  2. Tie them in a cloth tightly, and place in a warm place until they sprout.
  3. Combine the sprouted moong with the rest of the ingredients, and rest for an hour or longer so the flavors can meld.
